Sewing may not be a part of the regular curriculum at HKIS, but neither is running a restaurant. This month, R1 students did both. As part of their Restaurants project, they learned what it took to run a restaurant from real life chefs. They talked to a restaurant owner and even visited the Middle School culinary arts room. Then, they created their own menus and learned how to sew their own chef’s outfits. Watch out Hong Kong for these star chefs in the making!
